MTSCT + UWEN: an enduring friendship

On Sunday May 4th, Upper Waitematā Ecology Network (UWEN) and a host of environmental partners hosted the ‘Connect to Nature’ event in Kell Park, Albany.

Mountains to Sea Conservation Trust attended, too. As part of the Wai Connection project, Mountains to Sea has been able to deepen our relationship with UWEN and provide more on-the-ground support. As a result, the local community has been able to connect more deeply with their awa, and learn more about how to protect their blue spaces.
