Catchment and community groups
Helping your community protect and restore blue spaces
We collaborate with catchment and community groups, made up of landowners, community groups, schools and mana whenua, to investigate and care for their local waterways, inspiring action, building kaitiakitanga, and improving freshwater and marine environments.
How we can work together
Concerned about your local awa, lake, estuary or marine environment? Share your aspirations with us and we will work with you and your community group to restore the health of your local ecosystem.
Our work combines a scientific approach with mātauranga Māori for a comprehensive plan of action, improving waterways with monitoring, restoration and community engagement.
