Our Experiencing Marine Reserves (EMR) programme is ready to go as the weather warms up - and we’d love to give you the chance to get involved! As well as our free community snorkel days (to be announced closer to summer) we may have some subsidised openings available for schools. In addition, we have reasonably-priced options for schools, organisations and workplaces looking to experience the wonders of our aquatic environment with professional and knowledgable support.

We have provider organisations delivering EMR across the country. In Auckland and Northland, Mountains to Sea Conservation Trust can offer:

• The full Experiencing Marine Reserves programme - a multi-day education and experience programme featuring in-class (or office!) learning, followed by snorkelling experiences. While this programme is designed for school students, it can be easily customised to meet a range of needs and scenarios for adult groups. Enquire now for bookings. 

• Casual or single-day experiences - we can help deliver a short single-day snorkelling experience that features a short introduction to your local marine environment (or marine reserve), and steps you can take to protect it. Equally suitable for school groups/camps, corporate away days, and large groups, this is a fantastic way to safely experience the wonders of New Zealand’s marine environment.

We provide all the equipment you need, and the programme comes with Adventure Activity certification. If you organise transport (and adults for additional in-water support for schools), we can do the rest! Register your interest using this form.
