Making waves in Aotearoa | Meet the tamariki diving into action
31 students from 27 schools across Aotearoa joined the 24th annual EMR Poor Knights snorkel trip on 23 May 2025. Hosted by Mountains to Sea Conservation Trust with support from The Bobby Stafford-Bush Foundation and Dive! Tutukaka, the adventure celebrated marine action, art, and kaitiakitanga in one of NZ’s oldest marine reserves. Te Rau Karora Raharaha received the Darren Shields | Wettie Prize for freediving potential.
