31 students from 27 schools across Aotearoa joined the 24th annual EMR Poor Knights snorkel trip on 23 May 2025. Hosted by Mountains to Sea Conservation Trust with support from The Bobby Stafford-Bush Foundation and Dive! Tutukaka, the adventure celebrated marine action, art, and kaitiakitanga in one of NZ’s oldest marine reserves. Te Rau Karora Raharaha received the Darren Shields | Wettie Prize for freediving potential.

A day of learning at Bayswater Estuary, Oneoneroa

This season we were able to add a new location to our snorkel and paddle series, the Waikōwhai Coast, launching from Taylor's Bay.

On Saturday the 6th April 2024, 52 people joined us on a journey to Rotoroa Island to explore what lies beneath the waves.
